Nov. 29th Club Council Recap
The second Club Council meeting of the year happened last night. Club executives learned about planning their yearly budgets, managing their different accounts, and running successful fundraisers. They also had a presentation about the spring referendum in support of students and their clubs.

The first Club Council meeting of the year happened last night. New club executives learned about how to promote and market their clubs, prep for club fair, and how to reach and recruit new members. They also had a great round table sharing tips with each other on planning events, networking with the wider community, and communication best practices.
Club Fair Postponement + Covid Protocols
BC (and VIU) is now in stage 3 of the BC Restart Plan. If you are looking to plan an event for your club and aren’t certain it is within the guidelines, please contact me. VIU has put out a guide for campus activities and events which applies to clubs. Please make sure to follow this guide when you run club activities, and check it regularly as it is updated often.
