Please join us for a powerful and heartfelt gathering as we honour the lives of missing and murdered indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+. The Sisters in Spirit Vigil is a day of remembrance, reflection, and solidarity with the families and communities impacted by this ongoing tragedy.
Attendees are asked to gather at 3:30 PM at Diana Krall Plaza, with the march commencing at 4:00 PM. The route will include a stop for a moment of silence outside of Evolve Nightclub, the last location where Lisa Marie Young was seen before she went missing on June 30, 2002, and the march will finish at Maffeo Sutton Park.
Through impactful words, songs, and remembering, let us gather in solidarity to raise awareness, share our strength, and commit to the ongoing fight for justice and safety for Indigenous women and girls. We invite all community members to join in this sacred space of healing and support.
